Gorgeous run today - wanted to try a new route so I ran just straight down main street, only a few major crossings I had to pause at, the rest was smooth sailing - the sidewalk is set decently back from the road and the whole thing is pancake flat, so I got in my zone and just let it roll. Felt surprisingly fresh considering yesterday's hard effort and was very pleased with the time overall coming right near to 8 min pace for the whole thing. I do like this as a long run, and I think it extends nicely to up to 14 miles so I think I'll use this one more coming up.

This is the best week of training thus far, with 3 good workouts and great mileage. Lets keep it up!
