Dropped off Aidan at daycare, and then headed out for my last hard workout before the marathon. Planned to do a 2 mile warm-up, then 2 x 1.75 mile loop at marathon pace, with a 2 minute jog, then a 2 mile cool-down. Perfect weather today and not a cloud in the sky. I hope marathon day will be like this. Was able to really key in on marathon pace for the first interval, but the second one I think I started too quickly. I always end up going a little faster than marathon pace for this workout, and today was no different. So I think a 7:15 pace will be just right.
