wayne vs. "world"
originally going to do a 4x800, but after seeing their 800 times, decided on a 4x1200 instead. Their order was Dave, Brian, Jeff, and Kuangshin. My strategy was just to stick with them, but also try to run an even pace if they started fluctuating too much. Started out with a quick lap, then settled in behind Dave. Ran pretty much even with Brian as he had very consistent laps. Still felt comfortable half way through. Jeff gapped me a little on his first lap, but i slowly made up the distance going into his final lap. Then, he slowly pulled away and I lost contact after that. Difficult to keep up with Kuangshin in the latter stages of the race, although I did make up some of the gap on his 2nd lap (he ran an 89), but then he threw in a kick at the end at it was over. Ran the extra 200m to get a 5K time. New PR!
