COMMENTS: Wow... really out of running shape. Loss a lot LT fitness. 1st mile felt pretty easy, but after that, HR just shot up to MP HR. Concentrated on quick, low bounce strides. Really eased up on downhills to minimize stress. Ran without thigh sleeve. Feeling better about the leg. Only a slight twinge once around mile 4. Splits:
1. 8:18 (134/150)
2. 8:58 (153/157)
3. 21:50 (153/164)
See how the leg feels tomorrow. Nice time for a rest day.
