BAA Down the Hatch Run

Debated my outfit, but saw the 17 deg wind-chill and decided on tights, t-shirt, and jacket. Got a ride out from Pat. Very windy and cold after getting dropped off in Hopkinton. Started easy, than settled into a good pace with Paul. Stopped briefly at 5K, then once before 10K for a pit stop. Starting to overheat at 10K, so took off jacket for remainder of the run. Caught up with Pat and Chris for a bit then continued on with Paul until 15K. Regrouped a bit here, and then tempo portion until Wellesley @ MP. Legs again felt tight after this aid station, but gradually loosened up. After Wellesley, eased up a bit, took a gel, but couldn't hang with JB going up the hills. Paced together with Paul for the Hills, was hanging on up Heartbreak, but made it up reasonably well. Much tougher than two weeks ago. I think its the combination of the pace and tempo portion. Coming down felt comfortable, but legs were really starting to fatigue. Going to take a day or two off b/c tibialis tendon is sore.
