Awesome race. Perfect weather. Started out high 40's then moved into 60 by end of race with a 5-10 mile wind in places. The eastern trail is flat except for a few very brief places where you go up for a few hundred yards or so. I was able to maintain a consistent pace for most of it. The 6th mile was part uphill and I got it back on mile 7 the fastest mile. I felt strong throughout but needed to dig deep the last 2 to keep it consistent. Doug had a good race. A PR and I think bragging rights?
