Lost my GPS so I just wore my Timex today. Got out at a good pace with Mark Saile; we ran the first 5 miles together. I pulled away shortly after the downhill and spent the next 4ish miles picking people off. Was happy to see that miles 6, 8, and 9 were all under 6:00, and mile 7 was still pretty quick! Had a pretty decent kick so I got that going for me, which is nice. Didn't feel nearly as puky as I usually do after I finish. Not sure if that means I could have pushed harder or if the cooler temperatures helped in that regard. Saw Mikes Keating and Byrch afterward; they both ran well too! Mark Saile and Jeremiah finished not far behind me as well. All in all, it was a very successful day.
