6x 0.5 miles @ 5K I guess?

Right before I left, I created a 5x 1000m workout on Garmin Connect and synched it to my watch. But when the intervals started, I realized I had left it as 5x mile. So I quickly abandoned that and decided to do 6x 0.5 mile instead. Also planned on doing loops around the small block, but the middle schoolers were frolicking out on the field and had a field day when I sped by them in my outrageously orange, shocking short split shorts. Now, I don't mind being the subject of a herd of pre-teens' laughter, but I didn't want to seem like a creep by running by then multiple times. So I went out and back on Ridge instead.

Wore my Type A8s because I wanted to feel fast, and they did the trick! Ended up running a bit quicker than I had expected, and actually felt good on all except the fifth repeat (which was slightly uphill and into the wind). Still, felt very smooth and strong on this, and that is a big confidence booster. I think I could probably sneak under 18:00 on a good day and a fast course right now.
