PGXC race at GVP. Original plan was to run somewhere around 29 minutes, but the course was so wet, sloppy, and muddy that I threw all time goals out the window. Got out pretty well but still in the back half of the pack. Ran with Streb for a little bit, but passed him on the second loop I think. Caught a STC guy on the 2nd or 3rd loop and then tried to catch another STC guy and Boyce who were ahead of me, but couldn't quite do it. Definitely had to swing wide on almost all the turns to avoid falling on my ass, and every step threw up a fair amount of water and mud. Very happy to run 30 minutes and finish 2nd on the team in these conditions!
