First official Summer Throwdown race. Six of us showed up and ran our faces off on a 2.25-ish mile course that Kraig came up with. I was in second behind Streb for the first mile to mile and a half, then a kid named Jack passed me and ended up beating me by about 5 seconds. This was fun, even though running hard in hot and humid weather is less than ideal. Hung out and drank some beers afterward. Just guessing on the time too, since nobody wore a watch or GPS.
