Why do I run: I fell in love with it. I love the feeling of running. I love to feel the ground beneath me and the air rushing by me as I run.
Running also seems to be the gateway to develop endurance for all kinds of activities, from parkour to tennis and racquetball. |
Why I started running: Caught the bug when a coworker started talking about Born To Run in the fall of '08. Realized that I don't want to spend the rest of my life in front of computer screens, thinking that double-clicking was vigorous exercise.
After I started, I went on to lose 43 lbs, turned my health around, bumped up my energy.
