so, after I looked down and was running an 8:30...I really put the breaks on....I tried to keep myself slowed down (as you can see, I finally ran a slower mile at 3) but then picked it right back up...
Definitely a good sign that you are tapering well and getting ready to race, but yes, make sure you are keeping it in check and keep it slowed down. Store up that energy for race day. You're gonna need it ;o)
