A long fartlek averaging 5:17 for the 9 miles of effort pieces.
Didn't start out feeling great, and almost canned it after the second 3min interval when I was struggling to run 5:28 pace, but then I turned around and realized that I had been going into a stiff headwind the whole time and was having no trouble running 5:10s.
In the end, it felt like a good workout that wasn't anything spectacular, but was putting in the work that I need if I'm going to be running 5:00 for a half marathon this January.
