Tempo run on McCabe golf course. Pretty warm out and last nights lack of sleep definitely didn't prepare me for my best possible workout. First three miles felt great and really relaxed, but I think I got myself into trouble when I got off the golf course and onto the streets near the two miles pole on the course. Going up the big hill, I pushed it a little too hard and ended up paying for it a little later in the workout, particularly the last three miles where I felt like I was gritting it out and still not going incredibly fast. Not a bad workout per se, but I would have like to have been going more like 5:25 pace when feeling like that rather than 5:36 pace.

Interestingly, my GPS had the first two miles on the golf course path being significantly (~10 seconds) short. Not sure who to trust anymore.
