Really good workout down at Centennial Park doing loops around the main road. Plan was:

1mi@5:25 (1min)

9mi@5:35 (1min)

1mi@5:25.

But it ended up being:

1.5mi@5:23 (1min)

8.5mi@5:32 (1min)

1mi@5:17

Today was the first time in a while that I only had my GPS giving me mile splits instead of continuous updates, and I really liked the freedom of getting into the groove and just listening to my body rather than the watch. This was a really encouraging workout, in part because I never felt like I was pressing at all, and also because I finally felt like I had another gear at the end. Next big workout is this Sunday when I'll be trying to do some running down at HM pace.
