Rode out to Cowwarr with Saturday morning group. There was at least 30 riders - a lot of whom were the Herald Sun tour guys. Felt fantastic going out...really strong and sat second from the front for several km's. It wasn't until 8 of us stopped to turn around (at about the hour mark) that I felt totally stuffed....the stop didn't do me any good....just sapped my energy. Spits ended up pushing me up a few of the hills but I picked up not long after. Av speed is EXCELLENT and I'm pretty happy overall with the ride. Hope to do another 30km this afternoon.
