New PR :)
Race was good. First few miles were a little slower than I would have liked. I couldn't seem to get warmed up and get my breathing right. Once I settled in I felt great until mile 9.5 or so. I could tell I was starting to get fatigued. I kept thinking that I overran the middle miles too much. I ate a Gu at miles 5 and 9.2 The last few miles it took everything I had to keep going, my body just wouldn't move as fast as I wanted it too. The course seemed to have a few more rolling uphills and gullies to go through which were really difficult for recovery. Overall I'm trilled with my pace. Ended up 2nd in my age group.
