I tried to keep pace with the 1:30:00 pacer and I did for like 7 miles but then fell apart around mile 8 and 9. Luckily I ended up finishing the race with this guy who paced me to the finish line. I wanted a sub 1:30:00 but I didn't get it. I need to train more and get on a better diet and get new running shoes for my next half marathon or anything longer.
