Training run around the Culloden 10km race route. Looking at it on the map and driving around it gave the impression it was a undulating but fast route but unfortunatly this aint the case. The first 2 miles are mainly flat or slightly down hill but as you turn onto Nairnside your confronted with a mile long uphill drag before reaching a short half mile down hill section to turn left onto the B851 which takes you back to Culloden Moor this section is best described as undulating with a couple of short sharp inclines just to knock you out of your stride and a slight incline drag upto the 8.5km mark where it's then pretty straight forward to the finish. I pity Mr Murray who has a further 4 miles to run on what is the toughest 10 mile road race i have ever seen. Good Luck Buddy :)
