Nice ride! "The Beast," a big hill toward the end, isn't as bad as I thought - similar to some of the hills near our house. Started the ride with Allison Utley, then a guy who is a guard at a state prison in Tennessee County, and then a couple of ladies from Austin - Jen(?) and Suzy. Good day, wasn't in as much pain at the end as my last metric. Aundra came to see me at the last rest stop!
