Notes

After last weeks tempo attempt wasn't sure what to expect today. Decided to break it up into cruise intervals hopefully eschewing any mental blocks from last week. Goal was 5xmile at 5:20 with 1 min easy between. We keep on getting snow early in the week, so found a nice stretch along Calhoun that was nice and bare. First mile felt good, second mile a little fatigued, and the third mile again was really tough. Wasn't sure if I'd finish the workout again. Decided just to get going on number four and things started clicking, thankfully. The last mile I got started and some how my half tights under my pants got skewed around and my junk was plastered to the side of my leg. At a half mile I had to stop and adjust; it felt like my balls were getting squeezed every step. Thats usually is fine but only if its from sweet Nancy Kann.

Afterward, started to head home. I wanted to go lift tonight but was running out of time. I'll have to go do that tomorrow first thing in the morning.

IT still a little tender. Not too much of a problem during the tempo or cooldown but enough to keep icing the last few days.
