Super strange run today. Planned on a fartlek, but was interrupted about half way through by a middle aged women who was freaking out. She was walking her dog on a path around a lake and looked a bit shaken as I passed and asked for a cell phone. I told her I didn't run with one and then she screamed "That Man hit me" pointing up ahead on the path to another runner about 100m behind me/in front of her. I was like "whoa". What does she mean? She was really shaken up and I had a hard time getting the scoop from her. It sounded like after a minute of her trying to get her story out that the guy drove his shoulder into her as he passed by, maybe trying to "claim" his space on the path??? Just flexin' his nuts from some reason. Anyway, totally uncalled for. Once she had actually filled me in on the situation I tried to catch the dude. Not sure what I would have done had I caught him? Be like, "hey....uh....did you hit that chick back there?", or just kick him in the back of the knee and take him down. Once I got going I realized he was across the lake so I tried to go the opposite way to catch him on the back end. Turned out he was able to run off somewhere and I couldn't trace him down after that. Totally was not expecting that today. (sorry kieser, my keyboard battery died halfway through typing this.
