Solid long run today. Plan was to meet with Kieser, Wenaas, and Conor at 9:45 to run. Kieser texted me in the morning saying he wouldn't make it. But I definitely didnt want to miss a run with Wenaas or Conor, haven't ran with them in what seems like ages. But, being the moron I am, left my phone at home and didn't remember if we planned to meet on the west or east river road along the ford parkway. So I spent the first while running back and forth to look under each overpass to catch anyone. Needless to say, I had no luck. Ended up going solo. However, the river road offered a good change of scenery, nice hills, and less traffic than the lakes. After 90 minutes, I had to scoot back over to the lakes for work, ended up finishing my run around Harriet, and showered as quick as I could. Other than the logistical problems, the run itself was perfect. Glorious weather, high energy, and hills were total worth it.
