Today was a cruise run into a progressive tempo. Ran with most of the 8/mid dist guys before hand but since most of them had the week off i did the workout by my self. After 20 min I turned around to start the tempo. I really eased into it and probably started around 6:20 pace. After about 5 min I dropped down to around 5:50 and during the last 3 min I was down around 5:30 pace. I felt normal for the most part during this run. No knee issues whatsoever. I was planning on doing some zooms on the track but once I started doing my sprint drills my knee felt like flaring up again. I dont know what to think of it. It seems like I am able to run without problems (for the most part) but after I stop I get knee pain just walking around. I guess I'll just keep on icing and cross training and running when I can.
