Not sure why I keep classifying downtempos as progressions, but better to stay consistent I guess. A little harder than I was hoping for 5:50-6:00 pace. Goal was 5-6 miles, made it through six but was definitely pushing a little harder that last mile. Looked back at a few work outs from a month or two ago. Definitely some catching up to do in terms of sheer fitness. The week before Brian Kraft 5k managed a 6mile tempo at 5:30 pace. Not sure how I would handle that right now. But first a few progression runs and fartleks, add a little date pace stuff too, before the meat of the training and should be relatively ready for the TC 10.
