Mifflinburg, PA, Bald Eagle State Park area....a challenging course and a combination of single track, double track and gravel road.....i took it easy the first few miles..did the walk up hills thing....later in the race, it appeared the hills turned into mountains and the rocks/boulders showed up....i started slowing down and did walk/run for the last 10 miles. at around mile 24 the "Stairway to Heaven" started(was at 4:45:00 at bottom)...steep mountain that kept going up...took me about 25 mins to get to the top....overall, challenging with some good single track trail...saw that i was 3rd in my age group.
