a small marathon northeast of Scranton...run all on back roads. they had a saturday and sunday marathon event so more ultra runners were there to run both days, including Keith Straw and Chuck Engle. the first 8 or so miles were down hill and flat..then rolled. most of the second half was an out and back along the river and very flat. i finished strong, passing about 15 runners and not being passed once..there was talk that the marathon may have been a little short of 26.2 miles. overall, liked the fact that there was very minimal fan support. it was more like a trail run with nature, but on roads.
