A decent workout this morning. I wanted to cover some distance and did so, but the wind was very strong for the first 5-6km and I felt very weary throughout that part of my run and didn't really enjoy it much. On the return leg I felt much better and would have pushed the last 2-3km but I could feel a slight twinge in the back of my left hamstring on the uphills so decided to take it easy.
I always forget that the run round the reservoir is far from flat - the stats show several small climbs of 30-40 metres so all in all I was quite pleased with my time. The scenery is fantastic too which does help the mental side of things.
