My ankle felt fine throughout the first 7 miles but I started to feel it in the last part. Unfortunately this was when I foolishly decided to push it for a mile. The result was I had to stop and stretch out my ankle/foot and when I started to run again I felt intense pain. I had to walk the last mile back. Fortunately the foot started improving during the walk - meaning it didn't hurt to walk anymore. Otherwise it wasn't a bad run. It was quite warm out and I can't wait for the drinking fountains to turn on again because it sucked doing this without water.
