Ran West Hills Parkway for the first time after walking it with Rachel on June 23. It’s basically Pussy West Hills Parkway but starting at my house instead of the parking lot near Mission Trails (hence this one not being called Pussy West Hills Parkway). Pussy West Hills Parkway is tough already, but this way was even harder. I ended up calling this a hilly loop because of the start and finish on an already tough loop.

I actually felt pretty good for the most part and the time went by pretty fast. I felt a bit better on the way back until I ran into two hilly last miles. I just kept it easy and was never really pushing it. My left hamstring was hurting the first 0.75 miles or so but then got numb as the run went on. Went out in 30:37 and came back in 30:23.

Good run and good start to my late run at 162.0 pounds. I gained too much yesterday at the MLB doubleheader. Even though I’ve already broken it, I want to break it on Aug. 1 (Sunday). I was a surprisingly disappointing 164.8 today, my heaviest since July 6. This was also my longest run since running 9.01 on June 14.
