--- The first indication I'm starting from scratch again is when I dry-heave. Today it happened just 1.74 miles in.---

First run in two weeks and just my 10th in 54 days. I’m definitely starting from scratch again. The best indication was when I dry-heaved at the 1.74-mile mark. Pretty damn pathetic, but what can I do? I just have to get back to running, but it’s been so hard lately with work. I get home rarely before 7 p.m. and I just don’t want to do anything.

I ran “Football,” which is up to Rancho Mission Canyon Park, nine laps around the 0.25-mile loop and back. Luckily there was some kind of a soccer league going on up there. It made things go by a bit quicker. I was breathing so hard the whole run and my legs were quite heavy.
