Fuck you elevation! Damn, I took an ass-kicking today. Ran 4.14 miles in Albuquerque, N.M., at about 1:50 p.m. The loop started about 5,145 feet and got as high as 5,275. A little bit different then the 100-300 feet that I am used to at sea level. This run felt about 7:20 pace. Went out in 15:29 and came back in 14:22, then ran a short loop around in 1:58 to make 4-plus miles. Pretty sure I was about 8:00 on the way out (felt about 7:25), but came back faster, especially on the long downhill. Pretty decent run under conditions I'm not used to running in. Will run once again in high elevation tomorrow in Fort Collins, Colo.
