---Planned a recovery run on a flat trail, but it ended up being an easy run on rough terrain over small, rolling hills.---
Not the run I planned on doing. The plan was to go to Mission Trails and run about four easy miles at recovery pace, so nice and easy. But apparently my route wasn’t as easy as I thought. There were a lot of uneven lies and rough terrain over the ~1.02-mile loop. Most of it was dirt, but there were hardly any flat parts. I debated for awhile whether I should call it a recovery run, an easy run or a hilly run. I went with easy/hilly.
Although my heart rate only averaged 160, it seemed much higher than that. I was breathing hard and my legs felt pretty beat up. Once I finished they were even worse. My loop splits were 7:55, 8:04, 8:09 and 8:22.
Planned on doing around six tomorrow, but now who knows.
