Good run today. Felt a little tired initially, probably from yesterday's 10. Ran a pace that felt comfortable, and was surprised to see it ended up being that fast. Didn't really feel fast. I aways see interesting things when i go south to the end. Today i saw: 3 guys in shorts, a dog wondering around in traffic, two obese guys trying to push a car up a hill, a jogger with a straggling dog, and a lady being pulled by a dog. Hum. [it should be noted that i tried to call the dog out of traffic (honking drivers got him off the road safely), and that I've helped strangers push broken cars before, but i wasn't going to run across LSD to do it today]

Also i thought up a new saying regarding my running that i thought was 100% me, but as i thought more about it, it sounds like a mix of a Nofx song and the motto of the Supersuckers' record label. It was:

I'm not hardcore, and I'm not soft core. I'm mediocore, and that's pretty good.

I didn't intend to plan on doing a long run after the 10 yesterday. I wanted to do it Sunday, but it's supposed to be really cold, and today was so nice that i jumped at the opportunity. (Lately, it's all been about opportunity, i felt like it's tough to stay on schedule do to circumstances. So I'm running when i have the time, feel good, or weather permits) This also makes my weekly mileage look a little screwy. C'est la vie!

Best 14 mile time yet.

Good run, now off to Piece to scarf down a pizza!
