Notes

Grabbed Katie and went out to Burnham for a middle distance run.

I wore the pants, long-john shirt plus long sleeve shirt, and a hat, cause it looked pretty cold out there.

I was a little hungover, and had eggs, bacon, and water that all seemed to be sitting in my stomach when we began. After 4 miles or so, i was feeling better, and actually felt like running.

The snow was coming down, and we even saw them plowing the path. But it was a gentle snow, and after the first mile, the wind wasn't too bad. Until mile 7. It really started coming down sideways, and the left side (lake side) of my face froze. Seriously, there was ice in my beard. We took a picture. I picked it up for the last couple miles, and then wanted to run one last quick one just to see what i could do, and to wear me out.

Afterwards, we took a couple running photos because Katie was thoughtful enough to bring her camera out. Finally some photos of us running! and with ice on our faces.

I had a good time, running in the snow is pretty and fun. I was getting pretty cold by the time we left though, and was sooo ready for a hot shower.
