Just 5-1/2 days left until the Rockford Marathon... embracing the taper. Well, sort of. Less distance today, but my pace got away from me. First half, 20:35 (8:43/mile); second half, 19:57 (8:27/mile). Tore through last quarter mile in 2:03 (8:12/mile), not realizing I was running at nearly my 5K race pace.
At finish: 168/26.
