Notes

FARTLEK.... Felt decent on the first mile so decided to make it a little workout today. My first one.

14 min warmup

20 min fartlek--1 min on/1 min off

14 min cooldown

Felt good. Got moving fast during the on minutes (definitely low 5 min pace, I'd guess). The off minutes got a little slow for the last 2 or 3. Not really buildup for the minutes like I'd like. Seems that when the minutes starts I just have two speeds, medium and faster, but a minutes isn't much time to work with so it's fine. Maybe I'll start doing one of these a week until I'm ready for track workouts.

Concludes a low week with two (one unplanned) days off. Will try for seven days and 50? miles next week.
