Ran on the beach in Cabarete. Felt good, kept it really easy.
Tried running without the shoes so I could stay on the wet part and not worry about being in the water... Felt good. At about mile 2.5 there was a slight twinge in on the top of my left foot... Probably just from no shoes, using different muscles in my foot??? Felt okay when I turned around and went back (beach slope was the opposite way).
No big deal; I just will never make a habit out of barefoot runs...
