Originally wanted to see how fast I could go for 3 miles. It just wasn't gonna happen today. The first mile felt ok, but slower than I wanted (5:45). The second mile just felt like I was working way too hard, and that was on the downhill part. When I got to the slightly uphill part, I was in trouble, so I scaled it down to 2 miles instead of 3.

I guess it wasn't horribly bad for having not done any speed work other than two or three days of strides. I've got a lot of work left to do. This will be a good stepping stone forward though.
