Beautiful day trip from Lisbon to Sintra. The train station was a mess, but we finally got tickets and the ride was a really pretty. Some cool places outside the city. When we got to Sintra, we did some crazy, steep hiking up to the Moorish Castle and a palace. Everything looked like a fairytale. We grabbed lunch and walked around some more. We missed the train back home by literally less than 30 seconds, so we had to wait an hour for the next one. Overall a fantastic day.
