72F 57%H 56DP, Fargo Marathon: Started in rain with wind. The highest sustained winds were 24 mph gusting to 30. Highest temperature was only 73 which was less than expected. This was my worst performance with the exception of my first marathon which was in Chicago, where my training had been poor, temps got up to 89, went out too fast, and didn't really have a clue what I was doing. I think I am going to blame this one on my Lake Wobegon marathon two weeks ago. I'm thinking that I just hadn't recovered from that PR effort. Well, this should allow entry to Marathon Maniacs.
