This wasn't a bad race the 1st mile was slightly downhill and was a fairly quick 1 I ran the 1st 2 miles in 5.20 and 5.33 pace.
it was a very tough course with a lot of off road and a killer hill in it, it was quite up and down as a route.
I got another bloody stitch but I managed to keep on going and the pain went through to the right side of my back at the end. The stitch seems to come on as my breathing gets to shallow and I don't use my diagphram correctly by expanding it fully. This leads to me sounding like I'm gasping for breathe. I Lost time in mile 4 and had nothing left at the end, I really believe that the stitches are hindering performance and that realistically I've a minute I could knock off this even on current fitness. Overall ok but got to sort out the stitch issues.
