Moose Mountain Marathon is a brutal trail race on the Lake Superior Hiking Trail. Rained heavily during the night. The trails were all mud and standing water. Very rocky trail. Twisted my ankles at least a dozen times. Fell four times. Called it quits after falling into a huge puddle and badly spraining my ankle about mile 17. Walked to the aid station at 19. Tough, tough run.
