HC Track workout, 8x400’s
First time in the track this year and first time doing intervals in likely more than a year or two
Warmed up a mile then did 400 on 400 jog for 4, took a break for water then walked a couple minutes before repeating
Then ran another 1.25 to round out the 6
I wasn’t sure when to really push it but decided on the 7th to really go for it, that wasn’t until I’d completed 4 miles so it was impressed I pulled off a great time. Still can’t believe I could run a 52 seconds split
400 splits:
1: 1:56.3
2: 1:54.4
3: 1:53.6
4: 1:44.8 (6:59 pace)
5: 1:52.1
6: 1:50.4
7: 1:28.4 (5:52 pace) - Strava recognized my faster 400 as 1:26
8: 1:49.5
