Phew...wind ice sun snow. We got about 2 feet on Christmas Day so couldn’t run yesterday as I spent 2 hours clearing the driveway. Would have to go back awhile to find 2 days off running in a row.
Ran towards vineyards but they were covered so headed up and did Belle and down to my normal route. Loads of icy roads and lost footing on numerous occasions. Felt decent though prob bc the pace couldn’t be much faster.
Decided that the vineyards looked possibly grooved enough to try that on the way back instead of going back up Davison in the direct wind...big mistake. Vineyards were plowed in on Garfield abs drifter bad so headed down Garfield to finish. Then had to walk home through the grapes. That was a rough walk, snow was quite high.
