Well...my first half is in the books and it was an adventure. It was hot, humid and hilly. My body basically shit down a little over halfway which is what you'll see with the splits. I kept to my run 6 walk 1 until I had to start walking pretty much constantly the whole last 5ish miles.
I ended up cramping horribly the last few miles and couldn't run more for 10 seconds without my legs stopping me, this race about broke me but I did finish.
I probably had some variation of mild heat stroke as I was super dizzy afterwards, faintly, and threw up, I was in pretty bad shape for hours afterwards.
Def the hills were a problem, but considering I'd done some lomger runs I'd say the heat was e biggest factor, it was brutal.
10k officially was 1:04:39 , a 10:25 pace so that tells the story. Last 6.9 was 1:33:37 so a 13:34 pace, yep
