Notes
The official time was 4:58 (Course Record) but my watch showed 4:55.6 for 1.00. Even the finish line clock said 4:54 as I crossed and I later heard the timer say he was having problems.
I felt great. The course was fast (an old airport runway) and well marked. My 1/4 splits were approximately 70, 75, 73,77. I died at the end but definitely could have picked up a couple of seconds if I had competition (i won by 45 secs). I'm quite happy with the race, especially the middle.
