Notes
Felt very good...too good
I went out in 67 without realizing how fast I was going, like a giant dumbass. I had a huge lead but was already hurting at the quarter. Glenn Mays passed me before the 3/4 mark and demolished me on the way home. I could have run harder that last quarter but my race was definitely blown in the first quarter. I think I could have at least pushed Glenn had I run smarter.
My splits were 67, 2:23 (76), 3:44 (81), 5:08.0 (84).
Glenn was 4:57
third place was 5:18?
It was the first ever race on the Red Mile. It's a horse track that normally has cart racing. I though it was a really cool event.
