Notes
almost pulled the same hamstring on the first one. didn't warm up enough of course. switching starting position fixed the problem but made my quad sore. as a whole the workout didn't seem near as hard and didn't make me near as sore or wiped out. i still had to fast and lose a lot of blood but it seems that i adapted. my times were a very consistent 4.6 to 4.7 which were actually substantially slower than my times with the pepper. they might be on to something. two weeks ago I ran 4.4's and 4.5's before slowing to 4.6 and 4.7. I did the math and it converts to no worse than 4.6 for 40 yards. Considering i wasn't running in the best of shape or under the best of conditions i feel like i've still got decent wheels for short sprints. it used to be what i was known for until high school. actually if you take my FAT and convert it to hand time that they use at the NFL combine it would be a 4.4. I did run one of the 35m in 4.1, but i had a running start so the data was thrown out. its amazing the difference that a few steps makes in a sprint.
