3rd time to be first finisher at the prediction run! Woohoo! Second place and I traded back and forth for the first 2.5 and I was able to pull ahead a tiny bit at the end (6 seconds). We almost certainly slowed each other down saving energy for the end - first time I've ever been in that position and it was kind of fun. He has beaten me at this race at least once before and we talked afterward - have done some other races we've been both been in.
